This is a live zoom class that is at 6.30-8.30pm UK Time on Tuesday
This workshop is about using a range of different free machine embroidery techniques to create a beautiful leaf brooch.
My version does require a craft soldering iron to create the neat holes the leaves that you can see in the close up. You can make a version without the holes if you wish.
Organza, cotton and felt will be stitched, cut and beaded to create your beautiful leaf brooch. Modelling wire is stitched over and bent to create a lovely dramatic curl
You will have a choice of leaf patterns in various sizes to choose from
The techniques you learn on the workshop you will be able to use to create brooches in other shapes.
This workshop is for people who can already free machine embroider.
It is a relaxed zoom session and my small numbers always ensure a "workshop" feel to the class rather than a lecture. I will be able to help you throughout the workshop as you sew along with me.
The class will have a maximum of 10 participants.
There will be a comfort break during the class
You are able to view the requirements list before you purchase a place.
When you purchase a place on this zoom class you will receive the zoom log in details, details of the materials that you will have to get for the workshop and any preparation that you will need to do before the class. It is emailed to you immediately.
Please print off all pages and keep the link safe so you can log on in the evening.
It is in a PDF format
